About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Prepare P&IDs and specify equipment
  • Assess plants to optimize process parameters, increase productivity, and/or reduce energy consumption
  • Provide training to manufacturing and engineering teams on Dairy/Nutrition processes
  • Provide plant support to resolve manufacturing process-related issues
  • Lead the development of conceptual projects, including basic concepts, budgets, implementation timelines, and feasibility studies
  • Provide support for projects involving the definition and specification of manufacturing processes and equipment
  • Lead project commissioning
  • Occasionally lead strategic projects for new production lines
  • Report to the Divisional Dairy Engineering Executive Manager

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Experience as a process manager or process engineer, with knowledge of Dairy/Nutrition or the pharmaceutical industry
  • Experience in process optimization
  • Knowledge of unit operations, including dissolution, pasteurization, sterilization, concentration, evaporation, drying, and powder conveying and handling
  • Experience designing CIP systems
  • Experience with UHT processes
  • Degree in Chemical, Food, or Mechanical Engineering
  • Experience implementing projects through all phases: design, construction, commissioning, and start-up
  • Fluency in English
  • Project management experience
  • Willingness to travel approximately 80% of the time
