About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Serve as a strategic finance leader overseeing financial performance of manufacturing operations
  • Oversee internal factory costs, co-manufacturing activities, and transfer pricing
  • Transform operational performance into financial insights, analysis, and recommendations
  • Partner with Operations, Supply Planning, Procurement, and Brand Finance
  • Deliver financial reporting, forecasting, and variance analysis
  • Support cost optimization initiatives and business objectives
  • Champion financial discipline and enhance operational visibility
  • Influence strategies improving efficiency, profitability, and long-term growth
  • Lead monthly period-end close activities and management reporting for factory and co-manufacturing costs
  • Analyze variances, risks and opportunities, and cost-of-production forecasts
  • Coordinate annual budgets and dynamic COGS forecasts
  • Develop SKU costings and profitability analyses for pricing, sourcing, and portfolio decisions
  • Ensure P&L financial integrity and accuracy
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to drive improvement projects

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field required
  • 7+ years of progressive finance experience
  • Preferably experience within a manufacturing or consumer packaged goods (CPG) environment
  • Experience including P&L management and cost finance
  • Strong foundation in financial planning and analysis, including budgeting, forecasting, month-end close, variance analysis, and management reporting
  • Advanced financial modeling and analytical skills
  • Expertise in Excel, including advanced functions, data analysis, and financial modeling
  • Proficiency with SAP or other ERP systems
  • Experience working with large, complex datasets
  • Ability to develop executive-level presentations and communicate financial insights to senior leadership
  • Ability to influence stakeholders across Finance, Operations, Supply Chain, and Procurement
  • Process-oriented mindset focused on continuous improvement, financial controls, documentation, and operational excellence
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities
  • MBA and/or CPA preferred
