About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Contribute to the definition and evolution of the global Visual Merchandising strategy
  • Develop, deploy and continuously enhance the Visual Merchandising Excellence Roadmap
  • Foster the global VM community and gather market insights
  • Govern and evolve the Visual Merchandising Guidebook across active retail concepts
  • Develop VM principles and guidelines aligned with brand, customer experience and commercial priorities
  • Drive consistent application of VM standards across the boutique network
  • Partner with Retail Design on fixture and furniture optimization and future retail concepts
  • Drive the evolution of the Nespresso Gifting Visual Merchandising strategy
  • Develop merchandising tools, guidelines and solutions for gifting displays
  • Partner with Accessories, Brand and Innovation teams
  • Benchmark premium and luxury brands
  • Lead the Visual Merchandising Academy and capability-building initiatives
  • Plan and orchestrate Train-the-Trainer sessions
  • Coach and guide markets and monitor training completion, participation and satisfaction
  • Govern the Visual Merchandising Assessment Program with external partners
  • Evolve assessment frameworks and KPIs
  • Analyze results and translate insights into targeted action plans

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • University degree in Marketing, Design or a related discipline
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in Retail or Retail Communication and Visual Merchandising
  • Strong project management experience in an international environment
  • Experience in brand retail communication
  • Experience with cross-functional collaboration at Headquarters and market level
  • Fluency in English (advanced)
  • Expert-level capabilities in project management, Visual Merchandising and marketing communication
  • Strong analytical skills and experience in developing business cases
  • Proven change management capabilities and solid understanding of the business environment
  • Strong aesthetic sensitivity and creativity
  • Customer-centric mindset and excellent attention to detail
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills
  • Ability to set priorities and perform effectively under pressure and tight deadlines
  • Positive, flexible and adaptable approach to change
  • Curiosity and proactivity in identifying new solutions
  • Structured and agile project management approach with a strong focus on results
