About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Manage the operation and maintenance of the Industrial Services plant
  • Support Jurong Factory general services and maintenance of mobile handling equipment
  • Define, propose, and monitor Maintenance and Improvement (M&I) plans and objectives in accordance with Nestlé Maintenance Strategy
  • Lead continuous improvement activities using NCE mindset and methodologies
  • Manage facility systems and compliance in the Engineering Department
  • Propose and control the M&I budget
  • Plan materials and resources for shutdown activities
  • Prepare skill matrices for Industrial Services operators
  • Manage contractors’ work and safety during maintenance activities
  • Conduct in-house technical training for selected employees
  • Ensure efficient and safe operation of industrial services plant and ancillary equipment
  • Practise and inculcate NGMP
  • Maintain operational records of plant and equipment
  • Maintain and repair industrial services plant, general services, and mobile handling equipment
  • Initiate and execute improvement projects
  • Maintain cleanliness, tidiness, and hygiene in plant and equipment utility areas
  • Promote safety culture and implement Behavioural Based Safety practices
  • Drive continuous improvements to industrial services plant and operations
  • Contribute engineering input to food safety matters
  • Practise Every Day Coaching (EDC)
  • Implement safety and environmental practices in the workplace

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Diploma in Engineering
  • Degree in Engineering preferred
  • Must be certified Grade 2 Steam Boiler
  • Minimum of 3–5 years of relevant experience
