About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Manage maintenance store levels on site, focusing on Engineering parts availability
  • Maintain stock availability and relevant KPIs
  • Maintain good relationships with suppliers
  • Support the Technical Stores Manager in implementing and executing spare part management routines
  • Receive supplier deliveries, ensure correct allocation, and maintain Globe by creating stock items and maintaining MRP data
  • Support spare part receiving, issuing, storage, and reordering
  • Analyse slow-moving parts to prevent obsolete stock
  • Establish and execute inventory control, including cycle counting, access processes, and training
  • Produce reservation parts kits from stores stock and incoming deliveries
  • Add work order identification to kits
  • Deliver kits to local engineering workshops before scheduled maintenance

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Proven track record within a Technical Stores inventory or materials management environment
  • Experience using SAP or similar MRP systems and software is essential
  • Proficient user of MS Office
  • Experience of Excel highly desirable
  • FLT Licence (Counterbalance or Reach) desirable but not essential
  • Must demonstrate own right to work in the UK
  • Nestlé sponsorship under the Skilled Worker route is not available
