About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Take ownership of the territory covering South Adelaide, Riverland and surrounding districts
  • Drive sales, distribution and growth for Purina products
  • Facilitate in-store training sessions for sales staff on Purina products and nutritional solutions
  • Develop and maintain relationships with external customers and key internal contacts
  • Implement and execute the Field Sales Cycle Plan
  • Drive customer and shopper engagement through shelf and merchandising strategies
  • Deliver against sales KPIs
  • Seek new business opportunities
  • Guide and lead customers to maximise sales results
  • Act as a category expert, influential negotiator and customer business partner

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Previous sales experience demonstrating success working in cross-functional teams and maximising sales results
  • Strong Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Power BI skills
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
  • Valid, unrestricted Australian driver’s licence
  • Full Australian working rights
  • Ability to undergo pre-employment checks, including health checks
  • Completed degree in Commerce, Business or Marketing is ideal but not required
  • Comfortable spending approximately 3 nights away from home over a 4-week cycle
