About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Own and grow a portfolio of veterinary clinic customers
  • Deliver tailored business solutions, education, and category expertise to drive mutual growth and improve pet health outcomes
  • Grow the Northern Beaches to Western Suburbs of Penrith/Katoomba territory
  • Develop and execute tailored customer plans to meet clinic needs and deliver business growth
  • Acquire new clinics and expand existing customer partnerships
  • Build relationships with veterinarians, nurses, practice managers, and key stakeholders
  • Deliver product education and training on Pro Plan Veterinary Diets, Supplements, and Purina products
  • Execute in-clinic activation plans, including ranging, promotions, and customer engagement initiatives
  • Monitor customer performance, identify opportunities, and drive continuous improvement
  • Collaborate with internal teams to share insights, best practices, and growth opportunities
  • Maintain compliance with company policies, procedures, and ethical standards

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Ideally degree qualified in Veterinary Science, Animal Science, Nutrition or a related field, or possess equivalent industry experience in veterinary, animal health, nutrition and pharmacy roles
  • Experience in sales, preferably within the veterinary, animal health, pharmacy, or related industry
  • Strong commercial acumen
  • Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Power BI
  • Ability to build credibility and influence stakeholders within veterinary clinics
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
  • Self-motivated and results-driven
  • Ability to work autonomously while contributing to a high-performing national team
  • Willingness and flexibility to travel regularly within the assigned territory
  • Full Australian working rights
