About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead and motivate hourly warehouse associates to meet goals, standards, and daily targets
  • Drive associate engagement, productivity, quality, accuracy, and safety across inbound, outbound, order processing, shipping, returns, and related areas
  • Ensure SOPs, cGMPs, safety requirements, and training standards are followed
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment and ensure equipment and tools are available and functional
  • Supervise picking, consolidating, packing, returns, return-to-vendor, make ready, and audit activities
  • Staff assigned departments appropriately in partnership with management and production/wave planning
  • Monitor warehouse lines and goods flow across upstream and downstream departments
  • Maintain inventory accuracy, including RF replenishment and accounting for picked and staged items
  • Maintain records of merchandise, packages, shipments, tracking numbers, and associate productivity
  • Prepare daily metric reports and provide feedback to associates and management
  • Coach and develop Warehouse Leads and hourly associates
  • Ensure on-time order processing and warehouse throughput
  • Use Root Cause Analysis to investigate errors and recommend corrective actions
  • Recommend and implement continuous improvements
  • Make operational decisions to keep building plans on track
  • Assign work, organize daily operations, and ensure policies are consistently applied
  • Use ERP, WMS, SAP, and facility systems to generate reports, analyze trends, and execute corrective plans
  • Monitor reporting and escalate concerns
  • Follow facility safety and security standards and hold associates accountable
  • Complete special projects and other assigned duties

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required
  • 2+ years of experience in a Lead or Supervisory role within a warehouse/distribution environment required
  • Familiarity with Warehousing Inventory Control procedures, concepts, and management systems
  • Experience with cycle counting, shipping & receiving, and knowledge of DOT regulations
  • Experience with various Material Handling equipment
  • Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Suite programs
  • Previous experience or proficiency in SAP and/or other warehouse management platforms (WMS, ERP) preferred
  • Military experience may be used in lieu of formal education
  • Equivalent level of industry experience accepted
  • Ability to communicate across all levels of management, customers, and vendors
  • Strong data and analytical skills
  • Proven track record in planning and an interest in continuous improvement
  • Strong supervisory and managerial skill set
