About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead and manage a large workforce comprising permanent employees, contract staff, and third-party service providers
  • Direct daily inbound, storage, stock management, outbound, dispatch, and waste-management activities
  • Provide leadership through frontline supervisors and team leaders
  • Balance service delivery, productivity, people leadership, and stakeholder expectations
  • Ensure compliance with Safety, Health, Environment (SHE), Quality, and CARE standards
  • Monitor, analyze, and achieve key operational KPIs
  • Maximize utilization of people, equipment, warehouse space, and operational resources through capacity planning
  • Enforce inventory accuracy, traceability, FEFO compliance, and effective stock control
  • Drive innovation, continuous improvement, and waste-reduction initiatives
  • Drive warehouse cost-optimization initiatives
  • Collaborate with factory, Supply Chain, Procurement, Suppliers, Customs, and Transport providers
  • Coach, train, and develop the warehouse team

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 5 to 8 years of minimum relevant work experience
  • Proven experience in warehouse and logistics management
  • Strong knowledge of end-to-end supply chain operations, including transportation, distribution, and physical logistics
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities
  • Strong quantitative and statistical skills
  • Experience leading, motivating, and developing large and diverse operational teams
  • Strong collaboration and cross-functional partnership skills
  • Effective resource planning and utilization capabilities
  • Strong negotiation and influencing skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to build credibility and manage relationships with a broad range of stakeholders
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
