About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Embed yourself in a strategic business area and become a key partner to its leader in driving growth and value
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in core processes and increase business results
- Improve the journey and user experience for borrowers, brokers, and financial partners
- Design action-oriented data reports to support decision-making
- Help develop and prioritize the growth roadmap and serve as a bridge to the Product and Technology teams
- Lead major projects from initial scoping through implementation and change management
- Deliver cross-functional transformation projects, including enterprise software rollouts and the integration of acquisitions and major partners
- Coordinate internal and external stakeholders, from senior leadership to frontline teams
- Navigate complexity, ambiguity, and obstacles to maximize value creation and execution
- Quickly develop the expertise required to see projects through to completion
- Own the success of strategic enterprise software by optimizing implementation and adoption
- Help define ways of working, best practices, and the interaction model for the Growth Operations team
Requirements
What you’ll need- 3 to 6 years of experience in management consulting or in a hands-on operations role at a startup
- Highly analytical mindset
- Excellent ability to structure ideas and data in spreadsheets
- Ability to translate complex concepts into clear and compelling business cases
- Ability to prioritize effectively and strong organizational skills
- Strong stakeholder management skills
- Rigorous time management
- Comfortable operating in ambiguity
- Excellent communication skills
- Process-oriented approach
- Curious mindset, motivated by exploring bold ideas, adopting new technologies, and pursuing smart innovation
- Experience in the mortgage or financial services industry is an asset
- French proficiency is an asset
- Required: work from the Toronto office at least 2 days per week
