About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Own the monthly close calendar and provide visibility into open items and deadlines
Maintain a tracker for deadlines, owners and dependencies across accounting, FP&A, orders and RevOps
Run recurring finance meetings, capture decisions and follow action items to closure
Map information flows between finance teams and identify bottlenecks
Establish repeatable hand-offs for changes such as new vendors, entities and team moves
Convert one-off requests into scheduled reports and dashboards
Replace manual finance tasks with AI tools and automated workflows
Write playbooks and train finance team members
Measure hours saved, close-cycle reductions and errors avoided
Coordinate cross-functional finance projects, audit requests and year-end work
Prepare organized support for auditors and the executive team
Help prepare and track budget and planning milestones

Requirements

What you’ll need

4 to 6 years in finance operations, FP&A, revenue accounting, accounting operations, business operations or a similar role
Comfortable with the close, month-end reporting and the order-to-cash flow, even if you have not run them
AI experience (Claude preferred) with curiosity for trying new tools
Ability to run a project with many owners, track it and finish it
Clear writing, steady follow-up, and the ability to work with people you do not manage
Manual Dexterity: Repetitive motion of wrists, hands and fingers for using a computer
Stationary Tasks: Sitting for extended periods, remaining in a stationary position
