About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Work in a team that designs, implements, maintains and delivers Android applications for clients in various industries
- Take responsibility for technical design and maintenance
- Ensure application stability and performance
- Establish and follow high standards in software quality, testing, and security
- Perform code reviews and track software quality metrics
- Design and implement CI/CD pipelines for testing and delivering applications
- Work with agile development methodologies and the latest technology
Requirements
What you’ll need- 3+ years of professional experience in the design and implementation of Android applications
- Advanced knowledge of Java/Kotlin and the Android SDK stack
- Practical knowledge of various mobile architectures
- Good knowledge of the HTTP protocol and HTTP based APIs (REST, OpenAPI)
- Good knowledge of persistent data storage
- Good analytical and communication skills
- Fluent in written and spoken English
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Software Engineering or equivalent experience
- Openness to work partially in different tech stacks, either web frontend or backend development
- Advantage: Solid knowledge of Android architecture components, Jetpack, etc.
- Advantage: Experience with Gradle and various build configurations
- Advantage: Experience with CI/CD pipelines
- Advantage: Experience in mobile app security
- Advantage: Understanding of the full development life-cycle including app store handling
- Advantage: Experience using AI to support development and testing processes
- Advantage: Existing knowledge in different tech stacks such as JavaScript and/or Java backend development
