Design and develop product features end to end, from REST APIs to Angular user interfaces
Design new technical solutions and present them to other teams
Upgrade Java, Spring Boot and Angular libraries
Resolve vulnerabilities in dependencies
Refactor code and reduce technical debt
Write automated tests
Improve CI/CD pipelines and developer tooling
Perform code reviews
Share knowledge with less experienced colleagues

Requirements

What you’ll need

Solid experience with Java 17+ and Spring Boot 3 or 4, including an understanding of how Spring works
Experience designing and implementing REST APIs
Spring Data JPA / Hibernate and SQL with relational databases
Modern Angular, including standalone components and signals, and TypeScript
HTML, CSS and CSS preprocessors such as SCSS or LESS
Automated testing with JUnit, Mockito and integration tests
Git, Maven, CI/CD pipelines and Docker fundamentals
Ability to independently design technical solutions and explain decisions
Spring Boot 4 or major version migrations, Spring Security (OAuth2 / JWT), OpenAPI, Signal Forms, Angular Material, Ionic and Capacitor, Kubernetes, and effective use of AI tools are a plus
