About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Build products that power how Netflix Content teams plan, acquire, and schedule content
- Contribute to roadmap definition and execute priorities supporting content decision-making from idea through validation, launch, measurement, and iteration
- Own product workstreams end-to-end, from discovery and requirements through delivery
- Build understanding of Content teams’ workflows, pain points, and daily decisions
- Build data- and insight-driven tools for Content executives
- Translate complex business needs into actionable requirements for engineering and design partners
- Partner with data science and analytics to surface meaningful signals and insights
- Contribute to AI-driven product bets involving generative AI and intelligent workflows
- Drive adoption through operational change management and rollout
- Write and present strategy memos, business cases, and stakeholder updates
- Measure product impact
- Participate in roadmap reviews, sprint planning, and stakeholder communications
Requirements
What you’ll need- 3–5 years of product management experience, with a track record of shipping products in complex, cross-functional environments
- Solid analytical instincts and ability to use data to form a point of view, pressure-test assumptions, and evaluate impact
- Strong execution skills and ability to deliver with quality under ambiguity
- Genuine curiosity about creative and content decisions; prior exposure to entertainment or content-driven businesses is a plus
- Technical knowledge and customer empathy; ability to work with engineers, data scientists, creative executives, and operations partners
- Experience turning complex analytical concepts into simple user experiences
- Clear written and verbal communication
- Collaborative, low-ego working style
- Bias toward action and comfort with unclear problems
- Working familiarity with generative AI and agentic workflows; experience using AI tools or shipping AI-powered features is a plus
- Experience building internal tools or enterprise products for knowledge workers is a nice to have
- Familiarity with content scheduling, programming, acquisition, or licensing workflows in media or entertainment is a nice to have
- Exposure to AI/ML-native products and AI-based prototyping is a nice to have
- Experience in a fast-moving, high-trust environment with significant independent judgment is a nice to have
