About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Build product capabilities that help members discover, choose, and engage with Netflix content
  • Develop experiences and solutions that make choosing simple and intuitive and help members find something to watch or play
  • Work across TV, mobile, tablet, and web platforms
  • Define and drive product strategy and roadmap based on member needs, data, and business priorities
  • Partner with engineering, data science, design, and research to take ideas from concept through execution and iteration
  • Identify high-impact opportunities and balance short-term improvements with longer-term investments
  • Build alignment across teams working on different parts of the member discovery experience
  • Consider how product work scales across surfaces, use cases, and content types
  • Ship high-quality consumer products and drive measurable impact

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 5–8 years of product management experience, ideally in consumer-facing or platform-oriented products
  • Strong product judgment and ability to define strategy and roadmap in ambiguous problem spaces
  • Technical fluency with the ability to work closely with engineering and data teams and understand system-level tradeoffs
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional work across broad stakeholder sets, including engineering, design, data science, research, and other product managers
  • Experience building and shipping products that span multiple platforms and act as core capabilities
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate complex ideas to technical and non-technical audiences
  • Data-informed mindset, with experience using metrics, experimentation, and research to guide decisions
  • Ability to connect product decisions to broader business goals and drive measurable impact
  • Proactive and growth mindset with a bias toward action and continuous improvement
  • Passion and interest in TV, movies, games, and entertainment culture is a strong plus
