About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Work with Product Managers, cross-functional engineering teams, and Revenue Finance
Design and evolve architectures that handle massive data
Build highly configurable pipelines supporting global workflows for complex financial functions
Build infrastructure for revenue ads integration, settlement, and cash reconciliation of Netflix subscription payments
Generate invoices for bundle partners
Develop revenue partner workflows
Build a deep understanding of upstream/downstream systems and processes
Shape data model design and assess impact on adjacent systems
Deliver innovative solutions with minimal guidance

Requirements

What you’ll need

BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent
Strong data structures and algorithms knowledge with server-side expertise
Strong background in distributed data processing, software engineering design, and data modeling concepts
Proficient in Java, Scala, or any other JVM language
Proficient with gRPC, GraphQL, or RESTful API design and implementation
Experience with Pub-Sub (Kafka)
Experience with Stream Processing (Spark/Flink, etc.)
Expertise in solving large data challenges
Expertise in building distributed applications that are secure, scalable, and highly available
Professional experience and interest in building financial and monetization solutions
Understanding of the modern ad technology ecosystem with a focus on fintech
4+ years of hands-on software engineering experience building business-critical, reliable, and distributed systems
Ability to work independently, delivering innovative solutions with minimal guidance
Successful track record of delivering results in complex cross-functional projects
Strong belief in test-driven development
Strong bias towards action
