About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Take full ownership of programs from inception to delivery, proactively driving progress with a high agency mindset
  • Lead multiple cross-functional programs with product, engineering, design, and data science across the content journey
  • Drive engagement with cross-functional partners and decompose requirements into technical execution plans with measurable milestones
  • Optimize scope and schedule, manage cross-functional dependencies, and proactively identify and manage risks
  • Communicate progress toward goals and report status and insights to stakeholders and executive leadership across studio operations
  • Provide studio or media technology infrastructure expertise to form technical strategies with engineering partners
  • Devise sound technical approaches to abstract goals
  • Build relationships and rally teams with high emotional intelligence and exceptional listening skills
  • Operate independently, challenge the status quo, and play for the larger team

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 5+ years of technical program management experience
  • Background in content, studio or media technology and/or Generative AI/ML platforms
  • Proven experience driving large-scale software projects, managing the definition of technical strategies, and building long-term scalable solutions
  • Highly skilled and experienced in orchestrating multiple programs with many moving parts and creating partnerships with cross-functional teams
  • Ability to identify solution gaps, debate technical approaches, and influence product vs. technology tradeoffs
  • Deep understanding of content processing workflows in media and entertainment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to clearly articulate business impact and technical constraints tailored to the audience
  • Ability to speak technically and non-technically and bridge between the two
  • Detail-oriented, with ability to identify what's missing in planning and execution of software development, testing, and launch
  • Understanding, advocacy, and demonstration of Netflix values
