About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Work at a specialist level on security projects, operations, support, and technical sales assistance
- Provide Specialist-level support for customer incidents and problems
- Execute implementation and migration projects for internal and external customers
- Provide technical support to the sales team for pre-sales activities, bill of materials (BOM) preparation, service scope definition, and product value demonstrations (technical presentations, demos, technical defenses, etc.)
- Conduct proofs of concept (POCs) demonstrating the value of NSS products
- Support other members of the operations team in decision-making and strategic guidance
- Pursue continuous technical development for personal learning and knowledge sharing within the team
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or a related field (preferred)
- Experience providing technical support and working in Operations Centers (NOC, SOC, etc.)
- Knowledge of TCP/IP networks and protocols
- Knowledge of virtualization and cloud computing
- Knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems
- Knowledge of packet analysis using Wireshark
- Experience implementing and supporting NGAV, Proxy, Anti-Spam, CASB, SIEM, and SOAR solutions
- Professional experience with switches, routers, firewalls, and other network devices
- Knowledge of security technology projects, including architecture, implementation, and documentation
- Knowledge of security architecture and protection technologies (firewalls, IPS, IDS, WAF, proxy, antimalware, antivirus, SIEM, SOAR, etc.)
- Knowledge of complex troubleshooting and crisis management
- At least 5 years of experience in IT or Information Security
- Intermediate English and basic Spanish (preferred)
