About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead complex reviews and investigations
  • Analyse conduct, governance and customer outcome risks
  • Identify patterns, trends and emerging issues
  • Provide recommendations that drive meaningful change
  • Support governance reporting and executive decision making
  • Coach and guide other analysts across the team
  • Partner with Distribution, Product, Legal, Risk & Compliance and Operations stakeholders

  • Influence decisions and shape the adviser oversight governance framework

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Experience in adviser oversight, risk & compliance, governance, assurance, wealth management, financial advice, platform operations, licensee monitoring, or financial services investigations
  • Comfortable leading complex reviews independently
  • Ability to assess regulatory and conduct risks
  • Ability to analyse large volumes of information
  • Ability to make evidence-based decisions
  • Ability to translate technical findings into clear business recommendations
  • Confident communication with senior stakeholders
  • Experience with adviser obligations, advice fees, client consents, disclosure requirements, complaints, incident reporting, remediation programs or risk monitoring frameworks highly regarded
  • Legally entitled to work in Australia
  • Able to work from the office 2–3 days per week
