About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide expert coding and billing functions to accurately reimburse service delivery
- Conduct Coordination of Benefit audits at external provider agencies
- Work 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
- Safeguard sensitive and protected provider information and other confidential information
- Support Network180's behavioral health, substance abuse treatment coordination, and developmental disabilities services for Kent County
Requirements
What you’ll need- High school diploma or GED and 4 years of medical billing experience, or Associate degree in Health Information Technology or related field and 2 years of billing experience
- Advanced computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, and database management
- Knowledge of Medicaid, Medicare, and third-party insurance
- Ability to safeguard sensitive, protected provider, and confidential information
- Accuracy to detail
- Advanced organizational skills
- Valid driver's license and access to reliable transportation for job-related use
- Ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment
- Skills and capabilities to bridge language and cultural barriers to Network180 services within diverse communities
- Successful completion of a drug screen as part of the background check process
- Must be eligible to work in the United States through E-Verify
