Key responsibilities & impact
  • Review and support the redevelopment of relevant modules for the Electrical and Electronic Engineering and/or Mechanical and Manufacturing Engineering pathways

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Relevant academic qualification at degree level
  • Relevant and current teaching experience
  • Current and comprehensive knowledge of the relevant engineering subject area(s) at Level 4
  • Understanding of the key features of the qualifications system
  • Understanding of international learning and teaching contexts
  • Familiarity with qualification development processes and assessment techniques
  • Previous experience of teaching the relevant engineering subject
  • Experience of blended and online teaching (desirable)
  • Familiarity with using Virtual Learning Environments (VLEs) or Learning Management Systems (LMS) for teaching (desirable)
  • Ability to communicate clearly and adapt to different audiences
  • Well organised, with the ability to prioritise and work independently to meet deadlines
  • Works well with others and can build positive working relationships
  • High level of cultural awareness and sensitivity to diverse educational contexts
  • Confidence in delivering sessions online
  • CV submitted in Microsoft Word or PDF format
