About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Design, develop, test, and maintain software applications incorporating AI-powered features and intelligent automation.
- Write clean, efficient, reusable, and maintainable code using Python, Java, or JavaScript.
- Integrate machine learning models and AI services into software applications.
- Develop and integrate REST APIs connecting AI models, backend services, and application components.
- Work with TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn, LLMs, generative AI, and NLP technologies.
- Build AI-powered workflows, automation tools, and intelligent application features.
- Work with structured and unstructured datasets to support AI model development and application functionality.
- Collaborate with software engineers, data scientists, and cross-functional teams to improve application performance and AI integration.
- Debug, test, and troubleshoot software applications and AI-related functionality.
- Use SQL and databases to store, retrieve, and manage application data.
- Use Git and GitHub for version control and collaborative development.
- Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and software development activities.
- Stay updated with emerging AI technologies, software engineering practices, and machine learning advancements.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Master's degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field.
- 0–1 year of experience in Software Engineering, AI Engineering, Machine Learning Engineering, or a related technical role.
- Strong understanding of programming fundamentals and object-oriented programming.
- Proficiency in at least one programming language, preferably Python, Java, or JavaScript.
- Basic understanding of artificial intelligence, machine learning, and deep learning concepts.
- Familiarity with machine learning frameworks and libraries such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Scikit-learn.
- Understanding of data structures, algorithms, and problem-solving techniques.
- Familiarity with REST APIs, backend development, and web application fundamentals.
- Basic knowledge of SQL, databases, and data manipulation.
- Understanding of model training, testing, evaluation, and basic machine learning workflows.
- Familiarity with Git and GitHub for version control.
- Basic understanding of Large Language Models (LLMs), generative AI, and prompt engineering is an advantage.
- Familiarity with Natural Language Processing (NLP) concepts is a plus.
- Strong analytical thinking, debugging, and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to write clean, maintainable, and testable code.
- Strong communication, teamwork, and collaboration skills.
- Willingness to learn new AI technologies and adapt to evolving technical requirements.
- Academic projects, internships, or personal projects involving artificial intelligence, machine learning, or software development.
- Familiarity with AI APIs and frameworks such as OpenAI APIs, Hugging Face, or LangChain.
- Basic understanding of Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) and vector databases.
- Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
- Familiarity with Docker, model deployment, or AI application development workflows.
- Experience building AI-powered applications, chatbots, recommendation systems, or automation solutions.
