Key responsibilities & impact
  • Produce, report, write, and anchor sports content under deadline for television, digital, and social media platforms

  • Maintain video equipment and perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree in Broadcast Journalism, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and work experience
  • Strong knowledge of sports, sports culture and sports-related topics
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent on-air presentation skills
  • Prefer minimum two years of sports/news reporting experience (market-dependent)
  • Proficiency with newsroom technology, computer systems, and standard office equipment
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Team-oriented with excellent problem-solving and communication abilities
  • Valid driver's license and good driving record
  • Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
  • Pre-employment background screening required
