About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead design and UX strategy for monetization experiences, balancing user needs, business goals, and technical constraints
- Design cohesive, end-to-end journeys from first discovery to long-term, repeat value
- Advocate for user-first monetization experiences that preserve engagement and trust
- Use qualitative and quantitative research to inform design decisions
- Develop user flows, wireframes, and prototypes to improve engagement, conversion, and retention
- Drive experimentation and A/B testing to optimize UX impact on revenue and business metrics
- Contribute to and evolve the design system
- Influence product and business decisions through storytelling and data-driven insights
- Mentor and guide other designers
- Ensure accessibility and inclusivity across monetization experiences
- Monitor trends in monetization, AI-driven personalization, and ethical design
- Collaborate with product managers, engineers, researchers, marketers, data scientists, and executives
- Report to the Head of Design, Monetization
Requirements
What you’ll need- 8+ years of experience in UX design, product design, or a related field
- Strong track record of designing and shipping user-centered products
- Deep expertise in interaction design, information architecture, and usability principles
- Portfolio demonstrating impactful work in complex systems
- Experience designing monetization experiences, ideally within a marketplace, social platform, or other consumer or two-sided environment
- Experience unifying fragmented product experiences into a cohesive end-to-end journey
- Strong understanding of qualitative and quantitative research methods
- Proficiency in Figma and other design tools for wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs
- Experience working with and contributing to design systems
- Ability to lead design strategy and influence cross-functional teams
- Strong storytelling and communication skills
- Experience conducting A/B tests and working with analytics tools such as Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics, or Mixpanel
