About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Design, implement, and maintain automated tests for web, API, and backend systems
Establish robust, scalable test frameworks
Define test automation architecture, tooling, and strategy
Support the transition from manual to automated testing
Embed continuous testing into CI/CD pipelines
Produce actionable quality metrics and automated reporting
Partner with developers and QA teams on regression coverage, shift-left testing, and DevSecOps practices
Evaluate emerging tooling, including Generative AI-assisted test generation
Support performance testing

Requirements

What you’ll need

Experience with Selenium WebDriver, Cypress, Playwright, RestAssured, Cucumber JVM or Behave, JUnit, and TestNG
Strong OpenJDK 11/17/21 expertise, including Streams, Collections, and Lambda expressions
Experience with Maven, Gradle, Jenkins, GitLab CI, Apache JMeter, and test data management
Experience with Oracle and complex SQL
Knowledge of Angular/SCSS, Protocol Buffers, Jackson, and Gson
Knowledge of JWT/JJWT, OAuth 2.0, and OpenID Connect
Experience with Generative AI test generation and Amazon Kiro
Knowledge of QA methodologies, equivalence partitioning, and boundary value analysis
Knowledge of grant lifecycle processes, from submission through amendments
EQF Level 7 university degree with at least 10 years of professional IT experience, or EQF Level 6 degree with at least 12 years of professional IT experience
Degrees in any field are accepted
