About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Administer, maintain, and enhance EHR systems supporting clinical documentation, data management, reporting, and workflow automation
- Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve EHR system issues with vendors and internal teams
- Gather requirements and optimize workflows with operational and cross-functional stakeholders
- Support system integrations
- Design and maintain electronic forms, documentation tools, and reporting capabilities
- Support EHR user adoption through training, collaboration, system governance, and improvement initiatives
- Configure and maintain EHR security structures, user roles, permissions, and access controls
- Coordinate system upgrades, enhancements, testing, and implementation activities
- Manage vendor relationships and issue resolution related to EHR functionality and performance
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA, privacy regulations, organizational policies, and data security standards
- Promote best practices, data integrity, and operational excellence
- Participate in audits, quality reviews, and process improvement initiatives
Requirements
What you’ll need- AA degree in HMIS, Computer Science, or Healthcare-related field
- A minimum of one (1) year of EHR system and managing data experience
- In lieu of degree, the equivalent of two (2) years of combined related work and education will be considered
- Valid driver’s license required
- Must meet state regulating agency and Home Office driving requirements
- Experience in Netsmart products including myEvolv, OrderConnect, or myHealthPointe preferred
