About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Spearhead Talent Acquisition, community relationships, and outreach consistent with the Affirmative Action Plan
- Source diverse and viable talent through colleges, universities, nonprofit, and community organizations
- Schedule, prepare, and present at job fairs and general information sessions
- Build long-term pipelines of high-caliber and diverse candidates
- Facilitate interview and selection processes for internal and external candidates
- Pre-screen qualified candidates and participate in on-site interviews
- Extend job offers according to compensation guidelines and obtain additional approvals when needed
- Initiate new-hire drug and background checks
- Communicate with hiring managers and candidates throughout the recruiting process
- Maintain accurate requisitions, candidate dispositions, and ATS activities
- Run recruiting reports and maintain requisition accuracy for Affirmative Action/EEO purposes
- Advise and coach leaders and supervisors on HR policies and procedures
- Educate leaders on employment law, risk management, HR practices, performance management, disciplinary action, and career development
- Receive, confirm, and document resignations
- Initiate recruitment and backfill requisitions
- Schedule and conduct exit interviews
- Participate in HR-related committees
- Ensure compliance with company policies, state and federal law, licensing requirements, and privacy/confidentiality obligations
Requirements
What you’ll need- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Minimum 3 years of Talent Acquisition or Recruiting experience required
- Computer proficiency in MS Office products
- Valid driver’s license required
- Must meet state regulating agency and Home Office driving requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources preferred
- Knowledge of employment law, risk management, general HR principles and practices, performance management, disciplinary action, and career development
- General knowledge of EEO/AAP, FLSA, ERISA, COBRA, FMLA, ADA, HIPAA Privacy, OSHA, and USERRA
- Ability to adhere to company policies, state and federal law, licensing requirements, and employee/resident privacy and confidentiality
