About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Assist the group accounting team with internal accounting activities
Perform recurring month-end tasks and prepare journal entries
Learn and support month-end close processes aligned with NFI Group policies and processes
Work closely with the Accounting Transactions Team Supervisor and Group Accounting Manager to meet deadlines
Support and interact with functional groups within Finance and Operations
Ensure accurate reporting for NFI Group’s North American Bus and Coach Business Unit
Provide ad-hoc support on various tasks and projects
Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

What you’ll need

Accounting Intern term spanning from September to December
Ability to perform recurring month-end tasks and prepare journal entries
Ability to work closely with the Accounting Transactions Team Supervisor and Group Accounting Manager
Ability to support and interact with functional groups within Finance and Operations
Ability to ensure accurate reporting for the North American Bus and Coach Business Unit
Ability to provide ad-hoc support on various tasks and projects
