About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Partner with Finance, Tax, ITS, and business stakeholders to enhance financial processes, reporting, and system capabilities.
Analyze business processes, identify improvement opportunities, and recommend technology-enabled solutions.
Gather and translate business requirements into scalable process and system enhancements.
Lead or support system implementations, upgrades, integrations, automation initiatives, and continuous improvement projects.
Manage and optimize enterprise finance systems, including Oracle EPM applications where applicable.
Support budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, consolidation, reconciliation, and tax-related processes.
Lead requirements gathering, solution design, testing, deployment, user acceptance testing, change management, and post-implementation support.
Drive improvements through automation, advanced analytics, AI, reporting enhancements, and standardization initiatives.
Develop and maintain process documentation, training materials, and best-practice resources.
Build strong relationships across the organization while providing project leadership and stakeholder support.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field.
CPA designation, or progress toward a CPA designation, is considered an asset.
3-7+ years of experience in Finance, Accounting, Finance Systems, ERP systems, business analysis, or process improvement.
Strong understanding of financial and accounting processes, including budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, General Ledger, AP/AR, Fixed Assets, and Tax.
Experience supporting system implementations, enhancements, or business transformation initiatives.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Experience with ERP, EPM, or other enterprise financial systems; Oracle EPM experience is considered a strong asset.
Experience with Business Intelligence, analytics, automation and AI initiatives is considered a strong asset.
Project management experience with a demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results.
A passion for continuous improvement and using technology to solve business challenges.
