About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Design, implement, and verify system automation functions software
  • Test hardware and software equipment in the test room
  • Commission hardware equipment and software applications
  • Provide technical assistance on site and field support to hardware engineering for project modifications
  • Identify standard modules and perform customizations based on contractual project specifications
  • Test and verify software modules and functions, using simulators when necessary
  • Issue use and maintenance documentation for customers and internal users
  • Analyze and define interfaces between modules and subsystems
  • Issue software details to support internal realizations or externally performed performance requests
  • Follow up external suppliers of software modules
  • Prepare and carry out commissioning activities for supplied hardware devices and software applications
  • Perform functional and acceptance tests of the supplied system

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Degree in Engineering, Electronics, or Informatics
  • Junior High School (5 years) electrical/electronic/Computer expert
  • Good English
  • Programming languages
  • SW and HW platform of PLC
  • Communication systems and networks for automation
  • Supervisory Systems (SCADA) basic knowledge
  • Basic knowledge of electrical machines (transformers and motors), power electronics and converters
  • Electrical distribution systems and equipment
  • Automation systems applied to different industrial lines and related processes
  • Availability to travel 6/10 months per year
