About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Mentor and advise senior military personnel on equipment, technical capabilities, and TTPs for Tactical Advanced Sensors equipment
- Assist in developing and implementing CONOPs for employing TAS devices
- Provide technical expertise and support in testing and installing audio and video server applications
- Coordinate with Nightwing headquarters for specialized program support
- Provide technical expertise and operational perspective for new equipment and integration efforts
- Conduct research and develop best practices
- Assist with equipment installation, system configuration, and maintenance
- Troubleshoot systems, identify problems, and write reports
- Provide technical equipment advisory and support for SOCOM efforts in the SOCCENT AOR
- Travel overseas and operate in the SOCCENT/CENTCOM AOR
Requirements
What you’ll need- Active Top Secret/SCI security clearance
- Retired or former Special Operations soldier
- 5 years of United States military experience in a similar capacity
- Recent combat experience
- Experience with technical information collection equipment supporting SOCCENT/CENTCOM objectives
- Experience with web-based applications including Microsoft Office, Microsoft Windows, Osprey, Google Earth, C2PC, Streets and Trips, and Map Printability
- Ability to travel independently and operate for periods without supervision
- Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues, including account setup and network configuration
- Good understanding of computer systems, mobile devices, and other technical products
- Ability to carry a 35-pound load without assistance
- Ability to meet CONUS and OCONUS travel requirements
- University degree or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years of prior relevant experience, or an advanced degree in a related field and minimum 3 years’ experience
- Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 5 years of prior relevant experience, unless prohibited by local laws/regulations
- Active and transferable U.S. government-issued security clearance required before start date
- U.S. citizenship required
