About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Understand real users, their emotions, contexts, and expectations
- Challenge briefs, question value, and reframe problems
- Prioritize what matters most and make experience design trade-offs
- Design precise, aesthetically refined interfaces
- Shape a strategic vision and translate it into a design roadmap
- Use AI tools to prototype and iterate rapidly
- Conduct discovery through field observation, interviews, and analysis of existing products
- Identify opportunities related to user needs and business challenges
- Support tech teams during implementation and ensure delivery quality
- Document functional and business requirements clearly, including specifications and user journeys
- Participate in reviews, sprint planning, and Agile retrospectives
- Contribute to writing user stories
- Perform quality assurance (QA) on developed interfaces
- Present and defend design principles and recommendations to C-level decision-makers in French and English
Requirements
What you’ll need- 5–9 years of hands-on professional experience
- C1-level English required
- Extensive, daily use of AI
- Advanced prompting skills
- Senior-level presence: ability to champion a vision, reassure clients, and stay the course
- Best-in-class portfolio
- Expert-level proficiency in Figma and Figma Make
- Ability to present and defend design principles and recommendations to C-level decision-makers in French and English (C1 CEFR)
- Master’s-level education (Bac +5)
