About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Develop, together with architects or solution experts, a clear and prioritized IT roadmap for the client’s IT department
  • Translate the client’s strategy and business model into IT roadmap decisions
  • Build business cases and value propositions to support decisions between IT options
  • Challenge technical options in terms of business value and budget feasibility
  • Contribute to the strategic management of the application portfolio and roadmap
  • Map and evolve the target information system landscape
  • Decide between retaining, redesigning, migrating, or retiring applications
  • Challenge the TCO and technical debt of the application landscape
  • Present and defend application roadmaps and decisions before governance bodies (Executive Committee, IT Management Committee)
  • Produce consolidated, clear reporting

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 6 to 10 years of experience in IT consulting / digital transformation, or in IT project management with a strong strategic focus
  • Strong business and industry acumen
  • Ability to understand a client’s strategy and business model beyond its information system alone
  • Experience collaborating with enterprise architects or solution experts
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to deliver structured messages to senior management
  • Master’s degree or equivalent (Bac+5)
  • Background in consulting or within an IT department, with significant experience engaging with business stakeholders
