About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead the digital and finance transformation of an organization, drawing on in-depth finance expertise
- Lead initiatives to modernize the systems portfolio and optimize finance processes following mergers and acquisitions or business divestitures
- Establish the necessary frameworks and lead regulatory compliance initiatives, particularly e-invoicing, IFRS and SOX
- Define project scope, develop the WBS, estimate workloads, plan activities and manage earned value using EVM
- Align initiatives with strategic objectives and manage project budgets and resources
- Investigate and improve data quality, correcting errors and anomalies in ETL tools such as Power Query
- Document and monitor data quality KPIs and collaborate with IT and business teams
- Leverage data and business intelligence to support financial decision-making
- Design internal data analytics solutions to optimize audits of information systems and financial processes
- Act as the liaison between business teams and data scientists/analysts to design, develop and deploy predictive models and advanced analytics
- Support the implementation of cloud and SaaS solutions, optimize data governance, and ensure data security and compliance
- Propose a decision-support matrix for selecting appropriate cloud technologies
- Lead multidisciplinary project teams, manage risks, and support the adoption of new technologies and processes
- Support clients from requirements definition and tendering through selection, integration, implementation, deployment and hypercare
Requirements
What you’ll need- Higher education qualification equivalent to a four- or five-year degree
- Strong finance experience
- Data science experience is a plus
- Expertise in project management and change management
- Current PMP certification is a plus
- Excellent communication, leadership and team management skills
- Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies
- Knowledge of software development methodologies is optional
- Experience with various ERP, finance or accounting solutions such as Odoo, Akuiteo, Workday, Sage, Cegid, Microsoft or Talentia, either at a software vendor or supporting clients with their implementation
- Versatility, pragmatism, autonomy, rigor, strong prioritization skills and commitment
- 5–10 years of experience
