About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Schedule, plan, forecast, resource, and manage technical activities from project conception to completion
  • Organize and control engineering project elements
  • Develop project objectives by reviewing proposals and plans and consulting with the Project Manager
  • Identify project phases and responsibilities, assign personnel, and report schedule performance
  • Determine project specifications from product design, customer requirements, and performance standards
  • Complete technical studies and prepare cost estimates
  • Design and conduct tests to confirm product performance; assist in design and expediting of projects
  • Develop, monitor, and maintain project schedules
  • Coordinate activities and resolve project problems
  • Review designs, specifications, plans, schedule changes, and cost implications
  • Prepare project status reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends
  • Enforce procedures, rules, and regulations to maintain a safe and clean working environment
  • Maintain project databases, including writing computer programs and entering and backing up data
  • Comply with federal and state regulations
  • Contribute to team efforts and accomplish related results

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 5+ years of experience in rotating equipment industry is required
  • Advanced skills in MS Office and Project suites are required
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite
  • Skilled in time management, prioritizing and managing changing priorities
  • Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
  • Exposure to marine industry & class societies is highly desired
  • Experience with large manufacturing sites or construction facilities is preferred
  • Time management and organization skills
  • Bachelor's degree or higher is preferred
