About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Complete engineering projects by organizing and controlling project elements
  • Communicate directly with customers for assigned projects, including handling change orders and submitting required documentation
  • Develop project objectives, budgets, and schedules in consultation with Engineering, Planning, and Manufacturing
  • Determine project responsibilities, phases, elements, specifications, and performance standards
  • Develop and maintain project schedules by sequencing elements, monitoring progress, coordinating activities, and resolving problems
  • Control project plans, design, specifications, schedules, changes, and recommended actions
  • Control project costs by reviewing cost implications
  • Prepare project status reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends
  • Maintain a safe and clean working environment
  • Maintain the project database, including entering and backing up data
  • Comply with federal and state regulations
  • Select mechanical components and produce related justification documents
  • Create or modify bills of materials
  • Prepare Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&ID)
  • Provide technical support to the sales team and site personnel for existing equipment
  • Contribute to team efforts and accomplish related results as needed

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 2 to 3 Years of experience in Engineering
  • Exposure to cryogenic or natural gas industry is highly desired
  • Good communication skills
  • Proven discipline to carry out assigned tasks with little supervision
  • Proven Team Player
  • Advanced skills in MS Office and Project suites are required
  • Experience with large manufacturing sites or construction facilities is preferred
  • Time management and Organization skills
  • Experience with engineering software such as AutoCAD, Inventor, ChemCAD, PV Elite, or Caesar II is a plus
  • Experience with Pressure vessel and heat exchanger design is highly desired
  • Previous experience and success working in a dynamic and changing environment
  • Bachelor's Degree or higher in engineering is preferred
