About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Manage the full life cycle of projects for a variety of customers
  • Establish project scope and allocate resources to achieve customer satisfaction and deliver projects on time and within budget
  • Identify project stakeholders and determine their needs and expectations
  • Coordinate project management activities, schedules, budgets, risks, and mitigations
  • Plan, schedule, conduct, and coordinate assigned project work
  • Monitor work to ensure on-time release and delivery
  • Perform cost accounting and risk/opportunity management
  • Maintain regular contact with project clients and equipment vendors
  • Participate in client/contractor meetings and resolve project management issues
  • Ensure project documentation is complete, current, and appropriately stored
  • Coordinate project requirements across Nikkiso disciplines and other project participants
  • Generate project schedules, budgets, statements of work, and customer status reports
  • Provide monthly project status updates and manage day-to-day client communications
  • Track project budgets and schedules
  • Create and execute project work plans and revise them as needs change
  • Apply project management methodology and enforce project standards
  • Communicate with customers and internal teams

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 5–10 years of experience
  • 5+ years of engineering product/project management experience
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills
  • Advanced knowledge of project management standards and best practices
  • Data management and problem-solving expertise
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Experience with performance management and ability to evaluate situations quickly and accurately
  • Experience resolving conflicts and promoting organizational effectiveness
  • Change management and customer relations management experience
  • Excellent negotiation skills
  • Bachelor’s degree is preferred
  • PMP certification is preferred
  • Ability to meet physical demands including standing, walking, sitting, reaching, climbing or balancing, stooping or kneeling, talking and hearing, and using fingers and hands
  • Ability to work overtime, including weekdays, weekends, nights and/or holidays as workload dictates
  • Ability to lift up to 30 lbs.
  • Willingness to complete required safety training and wear required PPE
