About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Perform tasks associated with the assembly and testing of cryogenic pumps
Monitor production operations to identify dangerous and hazardous conditions
Hydro-statically test parts in accordance with provided prints and the ITP/PTP
Assemble parts and components in accordance with prints and drawings
Assemble in-tank/ex-tank electrical assemblies according to provided drawings
Disassemble pumps/components per schedule
Assemble and install required instrumentation per engineer design
Prepare vacuum bagging for components and prepare pumps and components for shipment
Prepare kits for shipment per bill of material
Maintain a clean work area and strict supply discipline
Notify the supervisor or Operations Manager of shop supply requirements
Maintain and utilize all company-issued safety equipment
Perform monthly strap and sling safety inspections
Report safety concerns immediately
Assist in identifying issues and making suggested improvements
Comply with preventative maintenance systems for facility vehicles, equipment, and tools
Report to the Operations Manager within the NCI Operations department

Requirements

What you’ll need

Critical thinking and good decision-making skills
Good mechanical skills with the ability to do fine assembly
Ability to read drawings and follow instructions
Excellent attention to detail and good organizational abilities
Direct industry experience preferred
Compliance with preventative maintenance systems for all facility vehicles, equipment, and tools
Experience working in a manufacturing environment
Proven job reliability, diligence, dedication, and attention to detail
High School Diploma or equivalent GED is required
Equivalent combination of education, training and experience may be considered
1 + years of experience in a similar role in a manufacturing environment
Ability to talk or hear regularly
Ability to stand and walk frequently
Ability to use hands and reach with hands and arms frequently
