Key responsibilities & impact

Write and execute SQL queries to extract, transform, and analyze data from multiple sources
Conduct exploratory data analysis to identify trends, patterns, anomalies, root causes, and opportunities to improve business performance
Develop data-driven recommendations to improve operational efficiency, customer experience, product performance, and business outcomes
Build and maintain reporting, dashboards, and performance metrics
Analyze business performance across customer acquisition, engagement, conversion, servicing, and other operational areas
Translate analytical findings into clear insights, recommendations, and presentations for business stakeholders
Monitor results following process changes or product launches and assess performance against expectations
Identify opportunities for continued improvement
Ensure analytical outputs are accurate, well-documented, and reproducible
Validate data quality and analytical assumptions
Support business growth through data-driven analysis, operational improvement, and identification of opportunities to enhance business performance
Partner with cross-functional teams to support implementation of impactful solutions

Requirements

What you’ll need

1+ year of experience in data analytics, business analysis, strategy and operations, management consulting, or a highly analytical role in a fast-paced environment
Strong SQL skills, including the ability to independently write complex queries
Strong attention to detail, with a commitment to data accuracy, validation, and analytical rigor
Demonstrated ability to perform thorough exploratory data analysis, investigate root causes, validate hypotheses, and derive actionable insights from large datasets
Strong analytical and quantitative problem-solving skills
Ability to structure ambiguous business questions and determine the appropriate data and methodology to answer them
Ability to communicate complex analytical findings clearly and translate data into practical business recommendations
Ability to work independently, manage multiple analyses, and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
Prior fintech, payments, lending, or financial services experience is preferred
