About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support the organization and management of data and AI projects from concept through implementation
- Manage interfaces between development, business departments, customers, and stakeholders
- Create and maintain project presentations, project plans, budgets, and risk assessments
- Identify and implement opportunities to optimize the use of AI technologies
- Support the strategic development of the AI portfolio
- Monitor technological trends in AI/ML
- Develop system architectures based on arc42 and the NATO Architecture Framework
- Create database schemas using ERD/UML
- Prepare process documentation using BPMN
- Create project presentations in collaboration with the team
Requirements
What you’ll need- Currently enrolled in a master’s degree program
- Completed bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering, business informatics, technology management, or a comparable field of study
- Interest in and basic understanding of AI technologies, such as machine learning, NLP, and automation
- Willingness to obtain relevant certifications
- Excellent communication skills
- Structured and solution-oriented approach to work
- Proficiency in MS Office and databases
- Ideally, experience with project management tools such as Jira, Confluence, or MS Project
- Very good command of German and English
- Willingness to work from the Cologne office three days per week
- Ability to independently handle system architecture, database schema design, process documentation, and project presentations
- Willingness to independently acquire knowledge in areas where expertise is lacking
