About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Own a defined block of the catalog, starting with extension cords, like a P&L
- Own category performance including in-stock rate, contribution margin, TACOS, and category profit
- Monitor top SKUs daily for competitor pricing, deals and lightning deals, stock positions, Buy Box, and listing health
- Make pricing decisions within the established rule set, including low-stock decisions to protect rank and margin
- Maintain in-stock discipline on core winners by working with forecasting and sourcing
- Manage listing quality, including titles, images, A+ content, variations, and pack configurations
- Make liquidation decisions for end-of-life and slow-moving inventory
- Extend winning products onto Walmart, Shopify, and Canada
- Build SOPs and decision trees to make the role scalable and repeatable
Requirements
What you’ll need- 3+ years running an Amazon Seller Central account, ideally owning a category or P&L
- Fluency in Amazon fees, FBA economics, Buy Box dynamics, and pricing
- Ability to calculate a SKU's contribution margin
- Strong commercial judgment and ownership of outcomes
- Comfort with Helium 10 or similar, Seller Central reporting, and spreadsheets
- Excellent written English and proactive remote communication, including flagging blockers before they become missed deadlines
- Ability to build and improve SOPs, checklists, and decision trees
- Walmart Marketplace experience is a strong plus
- Shopify or Canada experience is a plus
- Experience in home, hardware, electrical, or commodity consumable categories is a bonus
- Single full-time commitment, with no other clients or roles
