About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Develop and execute test plans, test cases, scenarios, and scripts for software validation
- Participate in the full software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering through deployment
- Collaborate with development teams to identify, document, and resolve defects
- Create and maintain test documentation, including test cases and defect tracking
- Conduct functional, regression, and acceptance testing of software applications
- Perform root cause analysis of defects and provide actionable feedback to development teams
- Develop and maintain automated testing frameworks using Selenium, WebDriver, and other relevant tools
- Perform 508 compliance, usability, security, performance, stress, and other quality assurance testing
Requirements
What you’ll need- US Citizen with ability to successfully complete federal background investigation
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, OR 3+ years of equivalent professional experience
- 2+ years of experience as a 508 Tester
- DHS Trusted Tester Certification required
- Strong experience with functional, regression, and acceptance testing
- Hands-on experience with test automation tools such as Selenium and WebDriver
- Knowledge of accessibility, usability, performance, and security testing practices
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
