About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Operate all aspects of the remote commissary
Ensure merchandise meets client needs while optimizing company profits
Cross-train as a housekeeper and in other administrative positions, including Billeting
Create sales orders, invoices, and purchase orders
Process and receive orders and invoices
Ship and receive merchandise
Manage accounts and follow through with vendor contacts
Price merchandise to optimize profit
Organize merchandise
Assist CC and Port camps with commissary needs
Complete weekly and monthly inventory accurately and on time
Answer calls and emails promptly
Perform daily commissary operations, including running the register, cleaning, and rotating inventory
Coordinate orders and procedures with other commissaries
Design and order clothing items
Notify the supervisor when safety and sanitation standards are not met
Perform other duties supporting department or unit success
Travel to and work at remote camps

Requirements

What you’ll need

High School Diploma or GED equivalent
At least one (1) year experience evidencing working knowledge of commercial cleaning equipment and industrial cleaning processes
At least one (1) year experience in commercial housekeeping
At least two (2) years’ experience in a retail environment including setting up displays, inventory management, product cost control, and merchandising product
Excellent customer service skills
Ability to operate with confidentiality, professionalism, and discretion
Intermediate skills with Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Word, and Microsoft Excel
Must pass pre-employment contract requirements, which may include drug test, physical and fit for duty assessment, and hearing test
Must cooperate and work as part of a team with employees, customers, and clients
Must make decisions in the moment with little to no supervision
Must be able to remain on feet for 12 hours per shift during the scheduled rotation
Must be able to live in dormitory-style settings and meet remote camp cleanliness requirements
Must speak, understand, read, and write English
Must adhere to company and client safety guidelines and regulations
Must be able to travel by plane and/or bus to remote camps
Must lift and/or move up to 50 lbs.
