Design, develop, test, maintain, and improve distributed software systems balancing high performance with stability
Develop automated tests to ensure high-quality software
Demonstrate work to individuals throughout the organization and seek feedback to refine and improve it
Review requirements for completeness and clarity
Work closely with stakeholders and customers to bridge technical constraints and customer needs
Participate in an on-call rotation
Work in an environment valuing in-office team interactions

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or related technical field
2+ years’ experience
Strong programming skills in Java or Kotlin
Solid understanding of Object Oriented Design
Knowledge/experience with Spring Boot, Docker, relational databases, and Git
Strong problem-solving skills with ability to evaluate multiple solutions
Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical colleagues
Currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis
Willingness to participate in an on-call rotation
Nice to have: Experience with AI coding assistants such as Claude Code or Cursor
Nice to have: Database optimization, performance improvement, benchmarking, and testing experience
Nice to have: Familiarity with Hazelcast or Redis, JMeter, ReactJS, RabbitMQ or Kafka, CI/CD, Grafana, and Prometheus
Nice to have: General knowledge of derivative trading
