About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Manage SAP FI/CO applications in 2nd- and 3rd-level support based on SAP R/3
Analyze business requirements and implement solutions in the SAP FI and CO modules
Perform error analysis and debugging within the SAP system landscape
Implement Customizing adjustments and optimize existing SAP processes
Collaborate with related SAP modules such as SD and MM and ensure seamless data exchange
Support the migration and transformation of the existing SAP landscape to SAP S/4HANA
Advise business departments on SAP processes and system-related issues
Support year-end closing processes and compliance requirements in the SAP environment
Document system enhancements, processes, and technical solutions
Coordinate collaboration with external service providers and internal IT teams

Requirements

What you’ll need

Several years of professional experience managing SAP FI/CO in an SAP R/3 environment
Experience with SAP FI/CO Customizing; knowledge of debugging is an advantage
Initial experience with SAP S/4HANA or an interest in migrating to SAP S/4HANA
Strong knowledge of finance and accounting processes under HGB and IFRS, ideally with a focus on IFRS 16
Knowledge of additional SAP modules such as SD or MM is desirable
Analytical, structured, and solutions-oriented approach to work
High level of personal responsibility, along with excellent communication and teamwork skills
Very good German and good English, both written and spoken
