About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Lead and shape Norconsult’s power systems and electrification division within its Renewable Energy business
Take overall responsibility for the division’s strategy, market position, financial performance, and continued development
Lead the organization through local department managers across multiple countries
Develop and execute the division’s strategy, market positioning, and growth agenda
Identify new business opportunities and drive organic growth and acquisition initiatives
Lead, develop, and support seven direct-report managers across multiple countries
Build a unified culture and strengthen cross-border collaboration
Ensure effective execution, prioritization, and operational follow-up throughout the organization
Drive financial performance, profitability, and resource utilization
Serve as an active member of the Renewable Energy leadership team
Contribute to Norconsult’s continued development

Requirements

What you’ll need

Extensive experience leading large, knowledge-intensive teams
Strong understanding of the energy market and trends shaping electrification, grid expansion, and the energy transition
Proven track record in complex sales, market and business development
Experience developing and implementing market and business strategies
Strong expertise in power systems, transmission, distribution, and energy infrastructure
Proven results in sales, market development, and business growth
Experience with budget, profit and loss, and overall financial responsibility
Experience leading organizational change and transformation
Demonstrated ability to build strong teams and create results through other leaders
Well-established network within the power sector in Sweden and preferably across the Nordic region
Ability to identify and realize new business opportunities
Solid understanding of digitalization, artificial intelligence, and future ways of working within the consulting industry
Excellent communication skills in English and at least one Scandinavian language, preferably Norwegian or Swedish
Willingness and ability to travel extensively across the Nordic region and internationally
