About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Design, build, and maintain hybrid infrastructure across on-premises bare-metal systems and AWS
Build and evolve Terraform and Terragrunt Infrastructure-as-Code
Manage Puppet and Ansible configuration across environments
Maintain and improve networking, including routing, load balancing, tunneling, and security features
Build and maintain GitLab CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure and platform delivery
Participate in incident response and postmortems
Apply AI tools to reduce toil and improve automation, tooling, and incident response
Collaborate with Product and engineering teams to translate business needs into infrastructure solutions
Improve team processes and infrastructure practices

Requirements

What you’ll need

3+ years of hands-on Linux systems/infrastructure experience
Solid understanding of networking fundamentals including IPv4, routing, bridging, proxies, and DNS
Production experience with AWS, including EC2, VPC, IAM, RDS, and ECS
Experience with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform
CI/CD pipeline experience; GitLab CI preferred
Comfortable scripting in Bash and Python
Hands-on experience applying AI tools and workflows to infrastructure work, such as automation, incident response, or tooling
Bonus: reusable Terraform modules
Bonus: Puppet and/or Ansible
Bonus: Unix network tools and tunneling protocols including iptables, nftables, OpenVPN, IPSec, WireGuard, Bind, or PowerDNS
Bonus: cybersecurity principles including least privilege, defense in depth, and secrets management
Bonus: container or virtualization environments including Docker, Kubernetes, LXC, microVMs, or ECS
Bonus: AWS SysOps Administrator or Solutions Architect Associate certification
Bonus: Terragrunt
Must be based in Vilnius and able to work from the office 3 times per week
