About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Develop and maintain NordVPN Windows desktop applications
- Ensure all application features are operational and high-performing
- Work across the full software stack, focusing primarily on desktop application development
- Collaborate with developers, designers, QA, and Product Owners
- Use Microsoft tools and technologies to extend and enhance product functionality through high-quality code
- Contribute to team-based software development and complex problem-solving
- Use technologies and languages outside the .NET framework when necessary
Requirements
What you’ll need- Experience in software development specifically as a .NET (C#) Developer
- Understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) principles
- Basic knowledge of source control
- Basic knowledge of best Unit test practices
- Ability to adapt quickly to changes and solve complex edge cases
- Experience with XAML-based technologies such as WPF, UWP, or similar is a bonus
- Knowledge of native Windows programming principles, APIs, and WCF is a bonus
