About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Write manual and automated tests for complex functional and integration testing
  • Perform functional testing of web and desktop applications and backend systems
  • Support, maintain, and improve test documentation
  • Report software defects and collaborate with development teams to resolve them
  • Work with product managers, developers, and QA team members to ensure product quality
  • Apply Agile principles in daily activities
  • Advocate for product quality within cross-functional development teams
  • Contribute to feature testing strategies and participate in QA Guild discussions
  • Support a smooth, high-quality release process
  • Share knowledge and support best testing practices
  • Contribute ideas and initiatives for creativity and innovation
  • Ensure products meet quality standards for deployment

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Proven experience in quality assurance, with a stronger focus on backend and API testing
  • Proficiency with API testing tools such as Postman or similar
  • Experience testing REST APIs
  • Strong experience in test case design, feature test plans, and test execution management
  • Experience performing regression, functional, smoke, and ad-hoc testing
  • Experience with test automation
  • Experience with GitLab and GitLab CI
  • Familiarity with management tools such as Jira and Confluence
  • Familiarity with complex technical systems and structures, such as microservice-based architecture
  • Experience with Agile/Kanban or similar methodologies and software development teams
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Written and spoken English
  • Ability to work from the Vilnius or Kaunas office
  • Ability to work from the office 3 times per week
