About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Oversee the end-to-end accounting process for group holding companies, including reviewing purchase and sales transactions managed by the GL Accountant
- Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities
- Reconcile balance sheet accounts, investigate discrepancies, and ensure financial record accuracy
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and IFRS accounting standards
- Prepare and review financial statements
- Collaborate with external auditors by responding promptly and accurately to audit requests
- Assist with ad-hoc accounting inquiries
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to resolve daily operational accounting matters
- Identify opportunities for process automation and efficiency
- Document and implement standardized accounting procedures to improve internal controls and consistency
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of experience in accounting or finance roles
- Overall accounting knowledge, preferably IFRS
- Experience working with Business Central (former Microsoft Dynamics NAV) or Workday
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel
- Attention to details
- Flexible and able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Self-driven, initiative, problem-solving oriented person
- Great communication skills
- Based in Vilnius or Kaunas and able to work from there
- Able to work from the office 3 times per week
